Is this a Curtis P-40
Warhawk or a Kawasaki P-40 Warhawk?

Yurk This P-40 Warhawk may have really been made by Kawasaki. A rare Airplane
indeed.
The P-40 came in several versions, the P-40C - Tomahawk, the P-40F, Kittyhawk
II, and the P-40N, Kittyhawk IV, and the Warhawk. These planes were
manufactured by Curtiss Wright Corporation. The engines varied from
a 1040 hp Allison V-12 to a 1200 hp Allison V-12. The maximum speed
was 343 mph with an initial climb rate of 2,120 fpm for the N version.
the P-40 N weighed 6,700 lbs empty and 11,400 lbs max. The length
was 33' 4" Wingspan 37' 3.5" and the height was 12' 4" The first
flight of the P-40 was January 1940 with the experimental version or the P-40
was flown in October 1939.
Actually I just stole the paint job. I know it's not entirely accurate
but since I got a little input from your site (and others) I thought I would
show you the (almost) final results. I got the donor bike for free, built
a frame, made the wiring harness grafted about three bikes together and basically got batty with a welder and a pile of spray paint. Whadya
think? Plus I only have about 600 bucks total into it, including the bike. Thanks for your input, Eric Yurk.
