North Pole Travel and Global Warming, What it Means to You

 

This is Jacques-Emmanuel Du Fresne De Beaucourt showing his GPS reading 90 degrees north Latitude as he stands on the North Pole.  Jacque is from France and is a database manager for his advertising company.  This is his first time on the North Pole and he is hoping to go with Global Expeditions to the South Pole this winter.  While at the pole, Jacques had a chance to do two days of cross country skiing and told me that he enjoyed it very much.  He has made many friends in Russia and, hopefully, next year, Jacques and I can go back to Russia to visit our friends.

What's the bottom line to this expedition?   We've been there, done that and had a fantastic time for the whole expedition.   We met a lot of friends and had some great parties.
