North Pole Travel and Global Warming, What it Means to You


The Northern Siberian tundra has his own kind of beauty as you can see in these pictures. 

I was told, because of the short two month growing season, that a ten foot takes one hundred years to grow.   There appears to be an abundance of wood in the Siberian Arctic Tundra, but with the knowledge of the extremely slow growth of the trees, the wood supply is very limited. 

Just as I was getting on the airplane to leave, Andrew ran out to the plane to give me this picture.  He said it is so that I will remember him as my friend and it was my gift from him.  Believe me, he couldn't have given me a better gift.  Bill Gates does not have enough money to buy this gift because it was given to me without me asking.  Andrew was a security officer at the airport.
