North Pole Travel and Global Warming, What it Means to You


What about this tug boat?  It sits here, frozen in the ice of the Khatanga River, for ten months out of the year making it very expensive to operate. 

How does this tug boat make money?   A boat like this must be very expensive and for it to be able to pay off its mortgage, use of it during those two months that the Khatanga River is thawed out must be very expensive.
