Nevada has some great airplane museums. Nevada is home of the Reno Air Races. I've been to these races many times and every time they are better and faster. You get to see antique Warbirds running at over 450 mph, just inches from the ground. You also get to see a variety of unique, one of a kind airplanes that are built by people just like you and me who have a hobby shop in there garage. Another event at the Reno Air Races is a military flight demonstration team which they have every year. Don't miss the Reno air races, they're usually in mid September and they're great. |
