Off I-29 at the airport exit 141, go west, cross the railroad tracks, at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Harbor Drive turn south on Harbor Drive and continue south 1/2 mile. The museum is located on the west side of the road.

Jeff, have a lot of updated information for you on the Mid America Air Museum in Sioux City, IA. We have recently moved into a new building and although we are still adding things from storage we are open to the public and plan on a Grand Opening ceremony on July 23, 2010.

Directions are as follows: From I-29 Exit 143, Turn off of I-29, go west 0.2 mile on Singing Hills, turn left at Harbor Drive and drive 1.6 miles until you come to Expedition Court. Turn on Expedition Court, cross the railroad tracks and drive 0.2 miles. Museum will be on the left, look for our Fed Ex 727.

From I-29 Exit 141 (Sgt Bluff, Sioux Gateway Airport Exit). Exit I-29 and go west on Aviation Blvd towards the airport. Turn at the first right onto Discovery Blvd and follow that as it curves to Harbor Drive. Turn left and follow Harbor Drive to Expedition Court. Again the Fed Ex 727 stands out and should be easy to spot. Our new address is: 2600 Expedition Court; PO Box 3525 Sioux City, IA 51102; phone is 712-252-5300. We have a website at www.matamuseum.org
but it is still in the process of being updated at this time, however Facebook users can see our new page under Mid America Air Museum. Hours are 9am to 5pm every day with the exception of Wednesdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter. Displays range from cars to airplanes with a total of approximately 15 aircraft at this time and extensive amount of smaller displays to include crash debris from United Flight 232, a DC-10 that crashed in Sioux City in 1991. In fact, the museum is now located at the crash site! If you need any more information feel free to ask, Matt Baughman.
