The C-123 was designed by a Russian constructing engineer Mikhail Stoukov. He was an airframe pilot and began to design frames answering a call of USAF. Eventually frames became planes. C-123 presented itself well at war in Vietnam. Stoukov designed new perspective models, but his company fell victim to intrigues of Lockheed. The factory used to build the C-123 in the United States was designed, built and had every fixture tested by Warren Benjamin Kidder at the Willow Run Airport in Michigan. |
