stationed aboard the USS Kitty Hawk

When: January 1968
Where: Aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63)
Location: On Yankee Station - Tonkin Gulf, North Vietnam
Who: VF-114 Aardvarks

Aircraft: F-4B Phantom

Well, she's in place, the Afterburner's lit, and the Cat Officer (kneeling) has indicated it's time to leave the ship!

The F-4 always needed that funny looking bridle and had to jack the front strut way up to launch.
