These kids really did learn by coming to the
Quad Cities Airshow?
The kids not only learned a whole lot, they had a good time. Learning
really can be fun. Another advantage is that when these kids get back
home, they talk and talk and talk. They have a lot to talk about.
This helps spread their new gained knowledge to the other kids, builds a new
conservation topic instead of the usual sex and drug topics found in housing
projects, and reinforces or internalizes what these kids have learned.
This really makes a big difference. We need to take care of our
country. Taking care of our country means taking care of our kids and
taking care of our kids means that we feed them mass quantities of information,
in a fun format, on a regular basis.
Using a program like the Y-I-BET for our housing projects, but not limited
to our housing projects, can help reverse all of the negative education that the
television, movie and music media are feeding our kids.
fireworks give housing project kids a final show.
