Tiger! Aircraft Art |
A P-47 Thunderbolt Aircraft, "Lady Dorethy Louise," gets some aircraft nose art painted on her plane by a professional Nose Art Artist.I'm not sure if all of the planes had nose art, but I do know that it was an honor to speak of your plane as a person. This P-47 Thunderbolt was called the Lady Dorethy Louise. and this professional Nose Art Specialist, or Artist, is doing a fantastic job painting Nose Art on this old gal. |

Painting Nose Art is an art in itself, this artist is a pro. Today these old nose art paintings still exist in the form of paintings and clocks as you can see at these links. |
Japanese Propaganda Art Exhibit
Propaganda Art was used by forces on all sides in WW2 as well as all wars in
history. This kind of art gave pride to the citizens of those countries
who produced it and gave a unity in support of the wars. This exhibit is
an excellent example of Japanese Propaganda art. |
Look at these exhibits and tell me what these men really fought for.
