KV Svalbard a Norwegian Coastguard Icebreaker in Longyearbyen, Norway.  

One day I was visiting Merete's fur shop and after only a few minutes after I arrived her husband, Joran, called and said for her to contact me and let me know that the KV Svalbard just pulled into the harbor.  Merete looked at her watch and saw that it was eleven a.m.  She suddenly said she that she will take an early lunch and she will drive me to see the ship.  On our way to the dock we noticed that a sailor was walking down the street so we picked him up and gave him a ride to his ship the KV Svalbard.  What a stroke of luck, the sailor was the executive officer of the ship and he invited me to take a tour.  In this exhibit you will see some photos that I took and some photos that were stock pictures from the KV Svalbard's stock library.
