The Chinese Ski team loads into the Mi-8

After a short stay in Camp Borneo the Ski Team loads their equipment into a Russian Mil Mi-8 helicopter and heads to the last degree point from the Geographic North Pole.  The one degree point is chosen by the Russian Commander for being the most likely point to ensure the ski teams success in reaching the pole.  Considerations like wind and ice flow direction and speed plus the number of open leads (Cracks in the ice)  are some of the factors which determine where the one degree point would be located.
