When you are on a ski vacation to the North Pole you need to wear a lot of specialized ski equipment.  In this picture you can see the ice that has formed on the ski mask of this member.  This ice will form in just a few minutes at -35 degrees Fahrenheit.  One interesting thing about the ice is that if you have a beard, it will cover the beard and leave a sort of wind shield over the beard keeping your face warmer.  The ice formation is a natural survival protection device, this is one reason so many Arctic Explorers have beards.
