You know, for about 2 years, I was on the lists of the Natural Solutions Foundation, following some of what that woman in the video was talking about, and I signed the Citizen's Petition. Although their work is very important to me, I was getting inundated with so many Emails that I couldn't keep up with them so I unsubscribed from their Email list. I decided to throw most of my energy into the fight against global warming and to let their group do the other work. I also used to be a member of many wildlife organizations and the Nature Conservancy - all of which are extremely important, but there's only one me and only so many hours in the day that I can devote to all these wars. I was spread out to thinly, and judging by the amount of paper that would come into my mailbox to please, please, please donate to each, I realized that I had to choose which battles I would be a warrior in. I can't fight them all because I'll wear myself out.
I did not, however, know all of the details of this Codex HARMonization nor that the WTO was involved. There's another thing not just to worry about but to panic about. Makes me want to buy 20-30 acres of land somewhere so that I can keep half of it forested (for wood) and the other half tilled for growing my own food. Build a house halfway into the hill so that it can be exothermally powered, put up a wind turbine and solar panels for the rest, and live off grid and essentially separate and autonomous from society at large. Of course, I'd still have to deal with air pollution and acid rain and other such things beyond my control, but I'd be way ahead of the game. Whether any of this is realistic and/or possible remains in question, but I am starting to seriously think about my options. Living where I do, even though I have 2 acres of land, none of it is usable because it's very steep and very rocky and it sits in a gully where the wind and sun don't easily reach. It's pretty to look at but not in my best interest.
Wow..... There's lots to think about, but I'm beginning to see a shift in my own thinking, from trying to change or stop things to figuring out ways of surviving. There's a change of climate for ya.
I am growing increasingly worried, and all I can say is that hopefully before this entire world implodes completely, I'll be too old to care or dead. There's a nice thought to have with my breakfast.
You know, I used to raise sheep and chickens, I had goats for milk and a horse for fun, but maybe it's time to think about going back to that kind of lifestyle not for recreation but out of necessity. I had fresh eggs - no chemicals, I had fresh milk and cheese - no chemicals, I planted vegetables - no chemicals, but it all took a lot of my time. However, I was married then and had a husband who was the one to bring home the proverbial bacon. Now I've got to do both, make money to support myself as well as find time to sustain myself. Ain't gonna be easy, but we all should start thinking in those terms.
People often ask me if I had only one recommendation, what would it be, and my answer now is: Tell your children NOT to have any children of their own. That is the generation that will suffer most - disease, famine, world conflict over energy, food, clean water, and quite frankly, I wouldn't want my grandchildren to be exposed to that. Humanity is cooked, but I'm not sure we deserve this planet and all of the wonderful things it has to offer.

Did you ever look at an orange?  I mean take a good look at an orange!  I have watched oranges for years, and then they start to dry up a little and get mold on them.  The mold sends out little "Roads" that turn into more moldy patches.  When I looked at Google Earth, it was the same way.  We are nothing but the mold.
The link that you sent with the dozen or so research articles on it talked about the ice loss last year killed eighty percent of the Krill, then bottom of the food chain.  On TV they have the deadliest catch program which the ships captain said it is more and more difficult to catch fish every year, it is so competitive.  The Captain of the KV Svalbard told me that their job was to stop poachers and fisherman who are catching the illegal fish.
Well, Young lady, we do not have generations.  This is why God Sent Me to the North Pole. People in the North will be more willing to help you where people in the south or the desert, will be more willing to steal from you.  I keep looking at where I'm going to live to survive.  What kind of thought is that.  What ever happened to the thoughts of having a career or running my business or taking a long, long motorcycle trip. 
Time changes people and the world.  The changing world changes our thoughts and needs.  I don't know how you are with studying the Bible, but everything that they said is coming true, exactly!  It says that we must trust in God.  But when I read it, it keeps telling me that God wants us to survive here on Earth to the very end.  The end is coming and we must stay true to the good things and ways.  Like the preacher says, "If Jesus does return, then the Bible is all true, but if he Doesn't return, then it was all a fable." 
The one thing that isn't a fable is that we are in big trouble in so many ways that they cannot be listed on the entire internet.  Just like the voice said to me when I fell off of that cliff, "There is a reason that you are alive," There is a reason that you are alive too.  Don't stop what you are doing and don't let anything pull you off of your path.  It was said to "Smooth the path before you step, don't look to the left and don't look to the right."  Another saying is, "A man without a plan is like a ship without a course, no place to go and disaster a probability." 
2020 will come and 2100 will come, but it is not going to be the place that we know today.
Don't let yourself stand naked.
Put on the full Armor of God, that's our only defense.
