The ice is about 2 meters thick and moves between two and sixteen kilometers each day, so if you bring your GPS you can track your true position. Remember, you are on top of a frozen arctic ocean standing on the north pole. Expeditions like this are rare, it is a true adventure to sit on the top of the world, on top of the frozen ice pack floating on top of the Arctic Ocean..
