This is me when I was a Portland Police Officer in 1948. I'll send others soon of myself and some crew members on the LST 979.
I liked being an
officer but had trouble with some of the higher ups because I believed
laws were made for everyone and not just for those who didn't have
personal friends as Judges and Politicians and Police Chiefs or their
Captains. |
